How to Set Up DKIM for Benchmark?

DKIM is an email authentication standard that cryptographically verifies the header of your emails when you want to claim responsibility for the message. You can configure Benchmark to sign your outbound emails with DKIM by making a few DNS changes. Let’s find out how.

Adding a DKIM Record for Benchmark

To make sure your emails sent using are DKIM-authenticated and safe, you will have to publish the following CNAME record in your domain’s DNS:

  • Login to your DNS management console

  • Navigate to Tools & Settings > DNS Template

  • Add the following CNAME record:

Name/Host

bmdeda._domainkey

DKIM record value

bmdeda._domainkey.bmsend.com

TTL value

3600

Finally, you can look up your record using our DKIM record lookup tool, and enable DMARC for your domains with our DMARC analyzer.
