How to Set Up SPF for Mailerlite?

SPF is designed to detect forging sender addresses during the delivery of the email. SPF allows the receiving mail server to check during mail delivery that mail claiming to come from a specific domain is submitted by an IP address authorized by that domain's administrators. The list of authorized sending hosts and IP addresses is published in the DNS records for that domain.

In this document, we will discuss how you can easily configure SPF for Mailerlite.

Configuring and SPF Record for Mailerlite

Configuring SPF with Mailerlite for your custom domain is pretty simple. All you need to do is:

  • Login to your Mailerlite account

  • Click on Authenticate and enter your domain name

  • Then click on Show DNS record

  • The necessary SPF record will be created for your domain by Mailerlite which you will then have to add to your DNS.

Once published in your DNS, you can now check your record using our SPF record lookup tool, and confirm its validity.
